About the Instructor: Award winning lecturer Bill Sturdevant doesn't let a little thing like multiple sclerosis stop him.
In 2001 he came to Laredo, Texas, from his home in Alaska, to record the popular Silva UltraMind Self-Management album.
A couple of years later when a missionary working with destitute and ill elderly people in Namibia wrote and asked for help, some people were overwhelmed and ignored her, while other wondered what we could.
Bill's only comment was:
"I'll go."
He did go, even though the MS had weakened him so much that he needed help just to walk. He presented several seminars in Namibia before returning home.
Even though he now needs a wheelchair - and needs help getting into and out of it - he still continues to teach. Now he teaches other people who are severely disabled.
